With a new Megadeth album coming out later this year, and Lamb of God’s VII: Sturm und Drang due out next week, both bands will join forces (and a drummer) for a handful of dates in the UK and Ireland with Children of Bodom and Sylosis.

Said Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine on the upcoming tour:

“Having just finished an amazing record full of high-energy heavy metal with Chris Adler, Kiko Loureiro and David Ellefson, I am excited to announce this tour and see all of the metal fans come out for this one. I literally can’t wait to hit the stage again.”

We knew Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler would play at least one show with Megadeth, but now we know he’ll pull double duty in November for both bands, at least for these handful of dates. Back in May Mustaine told Rolling Stone, “we do have some live shows coming up and we have a drummer committed to our dates so far this year.” Maybe he meant Adler, and this is it for live shows for Megadeth this year?

After these five shows, Lamb of God will then continue to tour throughout November with Children of Bodom and Sylosis.
