Lamb of God are doing a pretty excellent job of picking who they tour with. With their Anthrax, Deafheaven and Power Trip tour wrapping up this week, they’ve already announced their next tour, and while it’s a more heritage lineup, it’s also a more focused one. They’ll be bringing Clutch and Corrosion of Conformity on the road with them starting on April 3oth and continuing until their performance at Bonnaroo on June 11th. All three bands have been around for at least 20 years, and Clutch and C.O.C. have toured together in the past.
Lamb of God are certainly the heaviest of the three bands, but the Southern/stoner rocky feel of Deliverance-era Corrosion of Conformity and the upbeat, energized rock revival of Clutch will make this a trip worth taking.
