Europe is in a delicate state right now after the terrorist attacks in Paris a week ago, leading many bands to cancel their tours, including Lamb of God and Children of Bodom cancelling their scheduled show in Tilburg, The Netherlands due to security concerns after a bomb threat that took place in Hannover, Germany.

Sadly for many European fans, Lamb of God decided to drop the rest of the tour while the rest of the bands, Children of Bodom and Sylosis, decided to continue the trek without them. Lamb of God decided to officially comment regarding the cancellation via Facebook and said the following:

“Due to concerns brought to our attention by the venue security team yesterday in Tilburg – and continued general concerns across Europe – we have decided against putting our fans, our crew and ourselves in this position night after night and will be canceling the remainder of our performances in Europe. This is a decision we are making on behalf of the fans, our crew, and our band, as well as the well-being of everyone’s family, friends and loved ones at home. Stay safe, and we will see you very soon”

While the concern is always present in these days and times, fear is what the attacks wanted to accomplish and sadly, that is what is taking over the mind of many. On the other hand, Carcass is also cruising Europe along with Napalm Death, Voivod and Obituary and these are their plans for their upcoming show in Paris this November 23rd.

We play. End of discussion.
