Yesterday, some Lamb of God fans were disappointed upon finding out that they’d cancelled the remainder of their European tour, starting with Tilburn, Netherlands last night. However, that doesn’t mean that the whole tour is done. In fact, Children of Bodom and Sylosis have committed to completing the remainder of the tour, which continues on through mid-December. And while security issues have forced tonight and tomorrow’s shows in Germany, the tour will continue on. Here’s what Children of Bodom said in a statement:
“Lamb of God have chosen to leave the tour due to security concerns in Europe. Our team has been working very hard to make all of the remaining shows happen. We want to continue on the road and play the rest of the tour. Unfortunately the promoter has decided to move forward and cancel tonight’s show in Oberhausen, Germany, and the additional shows in Germany.”
While Lamb of God was only going to be on the tour until December 1, the tour continues on until December 12. Given the international issues that the band have gone through in the past few years, it can at least kind of be understood as to why the band decided to return home. Here are the remaining dates:
