There’s quite a bit of tour announcements happening today, eh? While the Deftones/Rise Against tour is officially a go, and Metallica likely announcing a tour with Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat before the month’s out, it’s a busy day. Not to mention Iron Maiden, who announced last month. Summer is shaping up for sure. At any rate, why not throw another tour in the mix? Korn and Stone Sour appear to be hitting the road as well. That’s not too much of a stretch, given that Korn and Slipknot have toured together in the recent past. Might as well keep Corey on the road with them.
While an official announcement has yet to be made, Live Nation is doing their “Ticket to Rock” promotion, in which you can buy a ticket that will get you onto the lawn for three or four concerts for $55 or $65, respectively. Those tours include the Deftones/Rise Against/Thrice tour, Incubus and Jimmy Eat World tour, Sublime and The Offspring tour and yes, Korn and Stone Sour. Here are the dates that have leaked for the Korn/Stone Sour tour so far:
