This year’s spring/summer tour season is getting quite full and now Finland’s favorite swamp metallers, Kalmah, have announced a spring North American trek dubbed Heroes to Us. Unless you’ve been part of a few rounds of 70000tons of Metal, the group barely makes it out to the states as this is a tour you do not want to miss. While the group will be promoting their latest effort 2018’s Palo (one of the best records of the year), Vreid will be joining in on the run as their special guest. This will be the first time the Norwegian black n’ rollers have toured throughout the continent in six years. The tour kicks off on April 17th in Dallas, TX and will run through May 1st in Baltimore, MD.

The group expressed their excitement:

Big news swampheads! Earlier this year we made a poll on in which country you’d like to see Kalmah performing? USA got the most of the votes by far and we will keep our promise! Now we are coming there for the very first time ever! See you all U.S. swampheads in few months!”

Vreid added:

We are extremly satisfied to announce that we will tour USA and Canada in April. This is our first tour in North America in six years, and we cant wait to return to your shores. The tour will be just as in Europe with our comerades in Kalmah.

Here are the first dates, and a few more will follow. Ticket and eventlinks will follow at the end of the week. Please spread the word wherever you can, and appriciate if you comment where you are attending and who you want to bring with you. See you soon!!”
