During a press conference at the Renaissance Hotel at Highland and Hollywood in Los Angeles, Judas Priest announced plans to tour North America with Thin Lizzy and Black Label Society. The tour will take place during the fall and kick off in San Antonio, TX on October 12. An entire rundown of dates revealed at the conference can be seen below (courtesy of Blabbermouth and Aniruddh “Andrew” Bansal of Metal Assault).

While there was likely even more revealed at the press conference, which included the first public appearance Priest has made with new guitarist Richie Faulkner, this announcement about the tour in itself is pretty awesome. Not only has Priest finally announced U.S. dates for their farewell Epitaph tour, but fans will now also get the chance to see the latest incarnation of Thin Lizzy, who only came to the U.S. for the first time since reforming this past March. Add an opening slot from Zakk Wylde and crew and this is one hell of a touring package.

We’ll keep you informed if more develops with this tour. We also hope to have more coverage regarding the press conference shortly. For now, here’s a rundown of dates for Judas Priest’s North American with Thin Lizzy and Black Label Society:
