Drummer Danny Walker has confirmed that work is about to being on Intronaut’s fifth studio album, and will be followed by a tour of some sort. A new album from the LA-based band would be a follow up to 2013’s, Habitual Levitations (Instilling Words With Tones), their third full-length on Century Media Records.

Said Walker, via Facebook:

“Things are starting to pick up again. Intronaut has studio time booked at Clearlake Audio with Josh Newell in about a week. This will be our 5th full length record. At the end of April we will be playing a couple of shows up north. April 23rd Oakland, CA @ The Metro and April 24th Portland, OR (STUMPFEST)@ Mississippi Studios w/ YOB, Graves At Sea, Big Business, Norska, Author & Punisher + many more! Intronaut will undoubtedly hit the road after the release of our new album.”

Walker also mentioned filling in on drums for a full US tour with his former band, Phobia, in support of Ghoul starting in May.
