In an awesome turn of events for summer tour announcements, Incubus and Deftones have just put out the world that they’ll be hitting the road on a co-headlining tour of nearly 20 U.S. cities with more to be announced.
Taking Death From Above 1979 and The Bots with them, these alt-rock fan favorites start their LiveNation sponsored tour on July 22nd in Clarkston, MI at the DTE Energy Music Theatre. This tour concludes in San Diego on August 30th, but not before hitting up NYC, Chicago, Boston, Houston, Dallas and many more major locations.
Newly signed to Island Records, Incubus is released their new 4-song EP, Trust Fall (Side A) on May 12th . Mike Einziger, founding member and guitarist of Incubus, told Billboard.com that the new music is “pretty indicative of where we are now. This is what the band sounds like in 2015.” The album is available for pre-order on Itunes and you can pre-order a physical copy here.
As for Deftones – their 8th studio album is currently in the works to be released in 2015. This release will follow Koi No Yokan, their critically acclaimed 2012 record.
