Here’s Machine Head’s new song ‘Killers & Kings’

Posted by on April 20, 2014

Yesterday was Record Store Day, and by all early reports, it was an incredibly successful one. Lines around the blocks at record stores nationwide won’t save the music industry, but proved that there’s still a passion for physical product, at least twice a year. At any rate, Machine Head chose RSD as an opportunity release a demo of a song from their forthcoming album, which of course is online now. “Killers & Kings” is a relatively short song for the band, weighing in at about 4:30, but it’s an appropriately ass-kicking song that does exactly what it’s supposed to do – leave us psyched for the new album, which will be out later this year. The band will be touring in advance of the album. You can catch them in the following cities:

May 11 – Boone, IA @ Central Iowa Expo (LazerFest)
May 17 – Pomona, CA @ Fox Theater (Scion Music Fest)
Jul. 08 – Fresno, CA @ Strummers
Jul. 10 – Salt Lake City, UT @ The Complex
Jul. 11 – Boise, ID @ Knitting Factory
Jul. 13 – Billings, MT @ The Carlin
Jul. 15 – Fargo, ND @ The Venue
Jul. 15 – Minot, ND @ The Original
Jul. 17 – Ft. Wayne, IN @ Piere’s
Jul. 18 – Toledo, OH @ Mainstreet
