GWAR hitting the road this Fall in support of new album

Posted by on August 15, 2017

The Blood of Gods, GWAR’s first post-Oderus album, will be out on October 20th, and on the day the album’s released, they start a nearly two-month long tour. They’ll have already played three shows by then, as they’ll be playing the Riot Fest on September 17th and two shows leading up to it in Knoxville (15) and Middletown OH (16). For the main tour starting on October 20th, the tour will have Ghoul and U.S. Bastards opening the entire tour. From October 20th to November 5th, Doyle will be on the tour He Is Legend will replace Doyle from November 7th to December 10th. Blothar spoke about the tour:

“Humans, we are coming to tear your world apart with a live performance the likes of which has never been seen on this or any other planet! This album, “The Blood of Gods,” is the greatest thing since French toast.  Just hearing these songs performed will result in an instant paroxysm of weeping, gnashing of teeth, and the uncontrollable voiding of your filthy bowels. Now, we are taking the whole bloody shit show on the road, with the most spectacular, blood-drenched, gruesome, and terrifying rock concert of all time. Don’t miss your chance to sacrifice yourself to GWAR at a venue near you!”

Tickets will go on sale this Friday (18) at 10am EST. There will be VIP packages available that include soundchecks (and the opportunity to play an instrument at soundcheck) and you’ll even get killed by the band onstage at the show.
