From Autumn to Ashes singer turned himself in

Since reuniting and announcing a tour with Hawthorne Heights, Sleepwave and Extinction A.D., From Autumn to Ashes had to leave the tour, due to “a personal emergency beyond their control.” Rumors started flying that vocalist Francis Mark was arrested on drug charges, and now finally he’s given a statement on the situation.

Said Francis Mark to AltPress:

“I wanted clarify a few things in the press and express my gratitude to the fans who continue to stick by us in these trying times. I turned myself in and was not arrested. The alleged drug house in question was merely a medicinal marijuana facility. I speak not only for myself but on behalf of From Autumn To Ashes that we will make up the dates as soon as we possibly can. Thank you for the years of support and see you soon.”

Mark has been on probation since late June, charged with, “Controlled Substance-Maintaining a Drug House.” Though it’s still not certain why the band had to leave the tour, terms of his one year probation specified he had to get permission to leave the state.
