Geezer Butler has made it clear that Black Sabbath will be touring the U.S. in July and August. And unsurprisingly, it appears that the group’s summer tour will also include dates in Canada.

Last night, news slipped out that Black Sabbath will be performing at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on August 14. So far that’s the only date to be revealed, but it appears that the North American trek could extend into September. It should be noted, though, that an official announcement hasn’t been made yet (though initial reports suggest that tickets for the Toronto date go on sale April 13).

As we all know, the tour will be in support of Sabbath’s new album 13, and addsThis adds onto their already announced plans in New Zealand, Australia and Japan. As to who will be joining Sabbath behind the kit during these shows remains to be known.
