Planning on catching the “Best in Brutality ” tour, featuring Broken Hope, Oceano, Fallujah and Rivers of Nihil? Sadly, you’re not going to get a chance to do that, as the remainder of the tour has been scrapped. It had already been plagued with difficulty, as Oceano has border issues that had prevented them from playing the Canadian dates, then last week, Fallujah had some vehicle issues that prevented them from continuing on the tour. Broken Hope posted the following on their Facebook page:

THE BEST IN BRUTALITY TOUR has come to a premature end. MoJoe’s in Joliet will be our final tour date.

To our friends & fans: please know that BROKEN HOPE did NOT cancel this tour…this was a business decision by the BIB tour organizers who’ve had to deal with numerous problems.

BROKEN HOPE will be back on a proper tour and we will also appear at the NEW ENGLAND METAL & HARDCORE FEST as promised!

For their part, Oceano plan on playing the remaining dates of the tour. calling it the “Last Man Standing” tour. They said the following on their Facebook page:

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Best In Brutality tour has dissolved. We apologize to anyone that was looking forward to seeing this tour package. Oceano will continue on and play the remaining shows as THE LAST MAN STANDING. See you in the pit.

They’ll be playing the following dates with loval bands opening

4/07: Pittsburgh, PA @ Smiling Moose
4/08: Rochester, NY @ Brew Haus
4/09: Buffalo, NY @ The Waiting Room
