Avenged Sevenfold have one of the best opening slots of the Summer by playing with a little band called Metallica. However, since Metallica have stated that they’d rather do their touring in two-week blasts with some time off, that leaves some time open for the opening bands, which also include Volbeat. With that, Avenged Sevenfold have announced some off dates in which they’ll be the headliners, with Volbeat as support. There are also dates they’ll be headlining in which A Day To Remember will be supporting them. The several shows with Volbeat take place in early July, while the end of July and early August shows feature A Day To Remember. It’s been a while since Avenged Sevenfold have done a headlining tour, and these dates don’t really count as a full-fledged tour, but if you’re interested in seeing them do that, this is probably your best chance until at least the fall.
Tickets for their Deathbat Nation fan club start tomorrow (14), with public on-sale starting Friday (17)
