While Messengers was Pennsylvania metalcore band August Burns Red’s sophomore album, it was the first one with their current lineup, and really solidified them as a force to be reckoned with. If you weren’t feeling old at all, that album will be celebrating its 10th anniversary next June. The band will be commemorating it’s decade in existence for a tour that starts about as soon as 2017 does. Kicking off in the band’s relative hometown of Philadelphia, the month and a half tour will snake it’s way through the United States and Canada before wrapping up in Clifton Park, NY on February 17th. Speaking of Canada, did we mention that Protest the Hero will be on the tour too? No? Oh, well they will. So will In Heart’s Wake and ’68. Here’s where they’re playing, so you can pencil the dates into your 2017 calendar if you have a pencil and a wall calendar.
