Over the course of their career, French duo Alcest have evolved from a black metal band to a duo that mixes post-metal sounds with shoegaze. And now they’ll be headed to the States, as well as Canada and Mexico in support of last year’s Shelter. Here’s what band leader Neige has to say about the tour, which kicks off on September 19th in Mexico City and wraps up about a month later on October 17th.

“We are very happy to announce that Alcest will tour in Mexico and North America in September and October of 2015. It’s been three years since we played in North America as headliners, so we are very excited to be back.
