Ovtlier, the Numetal/hardcore act have teamed up with Metal Insider to premiere their crushing new track “Buried Me Alive,” featuring Justin “JD” DeBlieck of Ice Nine Kills. The group have been inspired by a little bit of everything ranging from the 80s, 90s as well as grunge and nu-metal influences. Their overall sound is a combination of acts such as Breaking Benjamin, 30 Seconds to Mars, KoRn, and Periphery. Overall, this makes Ovtlier’s style unique as their not afraid to explore different sub-genres of music, which ultimately gives them the freedom in their songwriting process. Ovtlier are currently gearing up to deliver their most personal and intense piece of work yet as we can hear in the song “Buried Me Alive.”

Frontman Joey Arena commented the track:

Buried Me Alive is my stance on music. “She” is the girl that never loved me back. I give her my all and sacrifice everything but in the end, she leaves me constantly guessing, emotionally confused and forever financially investing. She gives me enough hope to keep me coming back for more. Like all forms of art, there’s so much soul that gets poured in and mostly everyone gets to reap the benefit but the artist. Speaking openly, I write and play music for myself and if the listener can relate or find relief in my words then that is what I call success. One can never question how much a musician can love their craft but just know that in todays days, if they are still giving it their all, they’d already proven that nothing else matters.”
