Tool kicked off their extensive North American tour in support of their first album in thirteen years, Fear Inoculum. And when Tool goes on tour, just about anyone does whatever they can to see these giants perform. With that being said, Eddie Van Halen went to the band’s show on Monday (21st) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and took his son Wolfgang Van Halen with him. The two somehow blended in with the crowd. No one in their seated area seemed to notice that Eddie and Wolfgang Van Halen were sitting near them. At some point, a Tool fan asked Eddie if he could take a picture of him with the stage behind him. Wolfgang found this scenario funny and shared the experience via social media with the following caption:

“A guy asked my dad if he could take a picture of him with the stage behind him, having no idea who he just asked, and that was my favorite moment from the @Tool show last night.”

This moment reminded us of that time when David Lee Roth crashed a bachelor party in Vegas having no clue who he is.

We haven’t seen much from Eddie Van Halen since Van Halen’s massive tour in 2015. Recently, there’s been rumors on Eddie’s health condition as TMZ reports he’s been flying between the U.S and Germany to get treatment for throat cancer.

Based on a 2018 study, approximately 38.4% of men and women will be diagnosed with cancer at some point during their lifetimes. There are times it feels as though it doesn’t matter how healthy a person may be as they too are prone to catching the horrific illness. For more information about cancer, there’s a website that provides resources, ways to prevent the disease and more and you can find that here
