Rob Zombie’s feature film The Munsters was presumed to premiere on Universal’s streaming service Peacock due to being released by Universal 1440 Entertainment, the direct-to-video entertainment label under Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. However, the shock rocker announced yesterday (18th) on Instagram that the adaptation of the TV series classic will make its official premiere this fall on Netflix. The film’s release will coincide with another revival classic, Tim Burton’s The Addams Family spinoff series, Wednesday.

Rob Zombie shared the following on Instagram:

“This fall we are gonna spook-out like it’s 1964! Yep, THE MUNSTERS and THE ADDAMS FAMILY are returning to the boob tube at the same time courtesy of @netflix. It’s been 58 years since this clash of the titans first happened. Perfect entertainment for your pumpkin carving party.”
