Rammstein writing new music during quarantine

Posted by on June 15, 2020

There’s a chance we could hear new music from Rammstein sooner than we think. Drummer Christoph Schneider recently appeared on Rodeo Radio podcast and mentioned how the band has been keeping themselves busy during the coronavirus pandemic by contemplating on composing new tracks.

Schneider revealed:

“We still have so many ideas lying around, so many unfinished songs. We have met and we are working on new songs. We want to work on songs. But whether or not it will turn into an album, nobody knows yet.”

While this doesn’t necessarily mean we will see a follow-up to 2019’s untitled album, we are still excited to hear new tunes from these German industrial metal giants. Rammstein were forced to cancel their North American and European tour due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Hopefully, new music will be the silver lining.
