Scott Kelly of Neurosis has revealed on “The Jasta Show” podcast that they’ll be recording a new record in early 2015.

Said Kelly, when summing up his thoughts on performing old albums:

“We’re spending all of February working on a new album, and that’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to work on our new record. We’re going to try to get a new record out quicker than the last one. The last one took five years to get out because of, you know, basically, because of personal shit that came up and interrupted the process. We’re hoping to turn one around in a more reasonable time and just keep gigging.”

This new album would be the follow up to Honor Found In Decay, which came out in 2012. Also, for the “first time in about 15 years,” Neurosis will get on a bus and do a three week tour through cities they haven’t been to in awhile, like Detroit, MI and Louisville, KY.
