Last month, Metallica asked their fans to vote for their favorite Metallica song via Some Kind of Bracket. Throughout the month, the group gave fans a poll to choose between songs ranging from “Enter Sandman,” “One,” “Fade to Black,” Blackened,” “Confusion,” “Fuel,” and more. After nearly a month of voting, the results are in, and “Master of Puppets” has taken the lead as the band’s best song ever!

The group shared the following:

The people have spoken and single song stands alone above the rest. Your champion is ~ drum roll please ~ “MASTER OF PUPPETS!”

Along the way it defeated “Dyers Eve,” “Atlas, Rise!,” “Ride The Lightning,” “Sad But True,” “Fade To Black,” and “One” in head to head match-ups… no wonder that thing is in the Library of Congress! Thanks for playing along with us! #ObeyYourMaster #SomeKindOfBracket
