Yesterday the world was shocked to hear of Robin Williams’ sad passing, which is believed to be by suicide. Williams, who was 63, had a multifaceted career that spanned from stand-up to TV and film, where he won an Oscar for Good Will Hunting. While some celebrity deaths are, to a point, expected, Williams’ came as a complete surprise, and having touched so many lives throughout his decades-long career, many other artists whose were inspired and amused by the actor weighed in on what he meant to them. Here’s a sampling:
Such a tragic loss. I will always have amazing memories of @RobinWilliams. Respect and love goes out to his family.
