Coronavirus: The Acacia Strain cancel US tour; three shows added for gas money

Posted by on March 15, 2020

Due to the uncertainties of which shows would be on or off, the Acacia Strain’s North American Tour with Rotting Out, Chamber, Fuming Mouth, and Creeping Death, is cancelled. However, in order to have gas money to make it home, the band added three last minute shows. Unfortunately, their bold attempt to carry out the tour following the cancellation of their European trek was ultimately out of everyone’s hands.

“**NEW SHOWS – Las Vegas tonight, Denver tomorrow, Kansas City, MO Tuesday. Tickets at bastardcrew.com

March 15 – Las Vegas, NV at American Legion Post 8 (No Chamber)

March 16 – Denver, CO at Streets (with Chamber)

March 17 – Kansas City, MO at The Rino (with Chamber)

We are planning on playing a few small shows so we can get to our respective states and hunker down. Devin is staying home in California. If you can make it out please try – these shows will get us gas money depending on attendance, but DO NOT come if you don’t feel well. Buy merch, have fun. I don’t want to go home, but we have to. Shows are getting cancelled left and right – for good reason. Everything is so up in the air right now that we can’t possibly stay out on the road not knowing what shows are going to get cancelled as we roll up to the venue. We cannot – in good conscience – expect people to attend shows when there is any risk for the spread. Stay home, enjoy your loved ones, play video games, catch up on schitts creek, FaceTime your mom. We are currently living a sideways existence, and we can only hope that by staying home and letting everything take its course; we can get back to normal as soon as possible. We have things planned, keep your heads up. See you soon.”
