Avatar has surpassed their Kickstarter campaign goal in ninety minutes. The group had raised over $50k for their upcoming Avatar Country featurette in less than two hours and over $110k in less than 24 hours. The band launched their campaign just yesterday (29th) as their $50k goal was planned to accumulate throughout twenty days. There’s 19 days left to go and fans continue to back the band.  The group launched the campaign to raise money to help fund a musical featurette on their latest effort Avatar Country, which was released earlier this year via eOne.

The band expressed their gratitude via Facebook, stating:

“FUNDED! In just short of two hours after the official launch you have made the impossible possible, and even if we tried for a thousand years we wouldn’t know how to thank you. #LegendofAvatarCountryis happening and from here on out it’s but a question of how great we can make it! The King bows down to YOU Citizens! “
