TriviumVengeanceFallTrivium is streaming their new album Vengeance Falls online via Roadrunner Records, a week ahead of the official release date October 15. While the guitar solos are still the tight symphonic passages Trivium is known for, the vocal execution and some of the main riffs are a little more, shall we say “Disturbing,” with obvious influence from album producer David Draiman.

The album isn’t so much a shocking surprise with tracks such as  “Strife” and “Brave This Storm” already released. The title track and  “No Way to Heal” add edge to the full effort, still preserving the elements of  Trivium that metal fans have worshiped prior to this more mainstream push. In fact, some songs even have a heavier thrash element to them than Trivium’s last release, In Waves.

To decide for yourself, stream the new album online and catch Trvium perform some of the new tracks during their tour with DevilDriver.
