Miss Randall, a multifaceted artist known for her eclectic musical skill sets, has teamed up with Metal Insider to premiere her latest single, “Heaven Doesn’t Want Me.” The track is taken from her upcoming EP, Desertations Vol. 1, out November 10th, 2023. The song explores themes of skepticism towards societal norms and religious dogma. Previously a member of the LA-based metal trio Rusty Eye, Miss Randall has ventured into a solo career, drawing inspiration from genres like blues, southern rock, and metal. She’s also collaborating with renowned guitarist and producer Waldemar Sorychta on a full album, “Randall y Sorychta.” Based in Portland, Oregon, since 2021, Miss Randall’s musical journey spans classic rock, electronic, soundtrack, alternative, and metal genres.

Randall explained her latest single:

“Can be interpreted in many ways, but mainly comes from a place of distrust of the status quo and imposing dogmas of others, including religion.”

On the EP, Randall adds:

“These songs are a starting point for me to reveal my innermost thought patterns in songwriting. Going back to my roots, I focus on pouring my heart and soul into the honest space that is Blues and Southern Rock which have always been my DNA. The desert and open space imagery is an overlying theme that I intend to keep exploring in future releases as well.”
