Swedish heavy metal titans Corroded are slated to return with their sixth album, Plague. With no official announcement on the release date, rumors have the album releasing sometime in the Fall of 2023. Their latest single, “The More Things Change,” provides a glimpse of the upcoming album, showcasing their dedication to hard-hitting metal. Fans can anticipate an exhilarating new journey through Corroded’s music with this new single and forthcoming album.

Corroded gained prominence in 2009 with their debut album Eleven Shades of Black. With five albums under their belt and a history of European tours, they’ve secured their place in the metal scene. Despite pandemic challenges, Corroded independently crafted Plague tapping into their darker musical side. Brace yourself for a heavy metal experience that embraces darkness and promises an unforgettable listening experience.

Drummer Per Soläng on “The More Things Change”

“The more things change…well, how the song ended up is something completely different from how we, initially, started to work with it as a riff…and here it is, pretty much explains how a song can change from the very embryo to a full grown song…and as a matter of fact, one of the first ideas for this album, enjoy.”
