While Killer Bee have a career spanning more than 20 years, six CDs and tons of European tours, they’re flown under the radar in the United States except to the most ravenous fans of traditional heavy metal/hard rock. Today, they announced that they’ll be headed to America for a five-week tour starting next week. Touring in support of their most recent CD, Rock Another Day, the Swedish (and Canadian – go figure) band’s traditional heavy metal is somewhat akin to early Scorpions.
When they embark on the tour next month, they’ll be joined by UFO’s Paul Chapman on lead guitar. While their forthcoming album, The Eye in the Sky, will not be out until later this year, today we’re bringing you the premiere of the its first single, “Joystick Warrior.”
