Get ready for a blast from the past with this 1998 nu-metal gem “Shadowed” by Smakdab. Making a special appearance in this track is none other than Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. The Iowa natives originally recorded this song back in Juniors Motel and had some production help from ex-Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and Kevin Miles, who mixed Slipknot’s debut record. According to the band, the track was kept quiet due to Roadrunner Records firm request:

“We got a nice letter from Roadrunner Records at the time making it very clear to not put Corey or Joey’s name anywhere on our release.”

Corey Taylor caught wind of the resurfaced track mentioning how he hasn’t heard the song since it’s birth.
