Motörhead are alive and ass-kicking, announcing a new studio album, their 21st. The album, entitled Aftershock, is set for release October 22. The news of an official launch date for the material is a hopeful one for Motörhead fans, especially since Lemmy’s recent health scares. But while we were hoping he might have taken some time to rest and recover after pushing himself a little too hard at the Wacken Festival in early August, it seems that he just can’t be caged. According to the band’s Facebook page, Lemmy has been blaring the rough cuts of the album out of his dressing room with strong pride for the new material. What’s not known is how soon he’ll be able to blare it out of his dressing room again, since he’s been recuperating following having to cut short the band’s performance at Wacken Open Air.
“Steal it if you must, buy it if you can!” Lemmy is quoted as saying via Facebook.
Whatever means you plan to choose to covet the material, the track listing is as follows:
Heartbreaker
Coup de Grace
Lost Woman Blues
End Of Time
Do You Believe
Death Machine
Dust And Glass
Going To Mexico
Silence When You Speak To Me
Crying Shame
Queen Of The Damned
Knife
Keep Your Powder Dry
Paralyzed
