Wanted more than a snippet of material from Megadeth’s new album, Super Collider? Well luckily for you, the group premiered the album’s title track this weekend on Full Metal Jackie. While the song will be officially released digitally tomorrow (April 23), the song unsurprisingly has made its way online.
You can listen to “Super Collider” for yourself in the stream below (until it gets taken down by the label, that is). In short, though, fans who prefer that Megadeth stick to their thrash roots will be sorely disappointed. The track is much more on the hard rock side, even a tad radio friendly. Fans shouldn’t be too afraid, though, since the sample of “Don’t Turn Your Back” sounds pretty heavy.
Chances are that any post of the song that makes its way online before it’s official digital release will get taken down pretty fast. So listen to a stream of “Super Collider” below while you still have a chance. The new album comes out on June 4 via its new T-Boy Records/UMe imprint Tradecraft.
UPDATE: While the original stream has been taken down, “Super Collider” has since been officially posted online and can be heard in the video below.
