If you’re in a rock or metal band that’s a duo, you’d better be able to bring it live. ’68 do it. The first few Big Business albums did it. More recently Death From Above 1979 and Royal Blood have as well. You can add UK duo God Damn to that list. The  band’s debut album, Vultures, will be released on May 12th in the United States via One Little Indian. Earlier today, Brooklyn Vegan premiered “We Don’t Like You” from the album. As you can imagine from the band’s name and their first single, the two-piece are loud and brash. Metal Sucks described it as “Queens of the Stone Age at their heaviest, with lead vocals by Rob Zombie.”

The band will be playing their first-ever U.S. shows next week at SXSW, and will play a show on March 24th in New York with Clean Teeth. Here’s where you’ll be able to catch them:

Mar 18 – Austin, TX – Latitude 30 – British Music Embassy – 3pm
Mar 18 – Austin, TX – Lambert’s – SESAC Showcase – 1am
Mar 22 – Austin, TX – The Carousel Lounge – Gutbucket Brunch – 3pm
Mar 24 – New York, NY – Niagra – w/ Clean Teeth
