kittie bowieIt’s been a while since we heard anything from Kittie and even made me wonder what year was it as I was not aware they were still around . Apparently, the girls are still at it and recently took part of a David Bowie tribute record and covered the song “Space Oddity” which you can listen below.

The tribute album contains many other performances by bands like Dum Dum Girls, Electric Six, Rogue Wave, Magic Wands, The Muffs, and more but, obviously, Kittie’s cover is the one that sticks out the most, as I have no idea who the rest of those other bands are, but the song sounds like watered-down, lite version of Bowie’s 1969 hit. The album is already out and you can pick it up on bandcamp for $9, or you can just listen for free and get the new Deafheaven record at the same price. Up to you.
