The last Hate Eternal studio album, Phoenix Amongst The Ashes, came out in 2011. Thankfully we won’t need to wait much longer for new music, because on August 21st they’ll release Infernus on Season of Mist. This will their sixth full-length album, and first on their new label.
The first song available from Infernus is the nearly five-minute track, “Pathogenic Apathy,” which can be streamed below. This is the first new material with drummer Chason Westmoreland, stepping in for Jade Simonetto who left the band in 2013. The album cover was painted Eliran Kantor who did Testament’s Dark Roots of Earth, and Iced Earth’s Plagues of Babylon.
Hate Eternal are currently out on the road with the Metal Alliance Tour, along with Deicide, Entombed A.D., Black Crown Initiate, Lorna Shore, and Svart Crown.
