Dutch symphonic metal titans Epica surprised us this morning (23) with the announcement of their new EP. The Solace System arrives on September 1st via Nuclear Blast and that’s just in time for the kickoff of their North American tour with Lacuna Coil and Insomnium. To celebrate this announcement, the group premiered a brand new animated video for the title track. It seems they continue to push the creative envelope with this unique animation, reminding us of a classic anime film. It has a different aesthetic compared to their prior videos and, you should watch this more than once to get accustomed to the change.
