With a top-ranking tour this summer, Iron Maiden are still as relevant as ever, leaving some wondering when their next album will be released. During an interview with Vorterix.com, singer Bruce Dickinson gave a ray of hope regarding the band’s 16th studio album with a direct statement, translated by MaidenRevelations.com.
“Well, I mean, we are going to do another album”, Dickinson said. “When we do it I can’t tell you.”
To give more clarification, he further elaborated:
“Actually I’ve written a load of stuff. You know, we’re all writing little bits and bobs all the time. We’ll see what happens, you know. But yeah, sure.”
The band’s 2010 album The Final Frontier came as a welcome surprise to many so maybe the band is also taking that suspenseful route this time around for the next release. But now that Dickinson has confirmed, the shroud over impending work is now lifting, so all can rest a bit easier.
