Black Sabbath’s “End Of The Beginning” (Studio Version) Makes Its Way Online

You’ve heard Black Sabbath perform “End Of The Beginning.” You’ve even heard a snippet of the new song in an episode of C.S.I. Well this past weekend, Chilean radio station Futuro 88.9 FM aired “End Of The Beginning” and is streaming it online.

While we were already impressed when we heard live audio of it, the actual recording of “End Of The Beginning” sounds much better. In fact, we’re actually digging it more than the first single off of Sabbath’s forthcoming album 13, “God Is Dead?” (which we also really liked). In other words, the song shows that while Ozzy might not sound so hot onstage (as fan filmed footage of them playing other new songs proved), Rick Rubin for better or worse did a good job making him sound good in the studio. Plus, Iommi’s riffs in the song sound like classic Sabbath.

Listen to the studio version of “End Of The Beginning” (with a radio tag included in the beginning) below. 13, Sabbath’s first full-length with Ozzy on vocals since 1979’s Never Say Die, comes out on June 11.
