Let’s not kid ourselves; all the numbers we’re looking at and care are the ones for Tool. They hardly ever tour and when they do, they only do it for a few dates and this is the longest tour they’ve done since 2012 and it isn’t even that extensive as most of the bands do. The reason for that can be seen above because every single one of those date were sold out and they made almost $1M per show! I was one of those attending this tour and aside from the fact that it was nearly impossible to snag tickets through Ticketmaster due to scalpers, the arena was packed to its full capacity so they don’t need long tours or even new music to succeed at having sold-out shows. I wonder what Maynard will buy with all the money he just made but I’m too broke to even imagine it.
