When Faith No More announced last year that the Album Of The Year line up was performing again for the first time since 1998, the fan boy in me freaked out with joy. When the band announced U.S. dates for this coming summer, I was ecstatic at the notion that I might get a chance to see Mike Patton and the band live for the first time. Well hardcore FNM fans in San Francisco not only got to see Faith No More’s first reunion shows in the country, but also witnessed a reunion of the band’s original lineup.

During their third and final night performing at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco on April 14, former singer Chuck Mosley joined the band on stage to perform a four song encore. The encore included the songs “As The Worm Turns”, “Crab Song”, “We Care A Lot” and “Mark Bowen”. In addition, Mosley and Patton shared vocal duties on the song “Introduce Yourself”. Not only did this mark the first time the two singers performed together, but also the first time Mosley sang with the band since parting ways in 1988.

Mosley joined Faith No More in 1983 and sang on their first two albums We Care A Lot and Introduce Yourself. Back in August of 2009, Mosley released a solo LP called Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food, which Metalinsider.net got to chat with him about back when the album was released.

Check out the video of Patton and Mosley’s duet above and more clips of the encore after the hit. If us East Coast fans are lucky, maybe we’ll get to see such an appearance as well (fingers crossed).
