We’re big fans of Whores. at Metal Insider. The band’s ok too. But seriously, after two excellent EPs, the Atlanta noise-rock trio signed a deal with eOne earlier this year. And three years after the release of their EP, Clean, their first proper full length, Gold, will be released on October 28. Today, we get the first taste of the new album, via “Playing Poor.” Like the first two EPs, the song offers up a heavy, sludgy mix of metal and Amphetamine Reptile-like noise rock, and it’s faster than a lot of their earlier material. And while the band’s mainly played the eastern seaboard so far, they’ll be hitting the road with Red Fang and Torche starting on November 18th. You can check the tour dates out after the video, and pre-order the album here.
