The Dillinger Escape Plan is one of the most intense live bands out there, with absolutely no regard for safety. That’s what makes them so interesting and unique, and what that means is that injuries will occur every now and then like the one that just happened to guitarist Ben Weinman.

Just imagine the following conversation between him and his doctor, without an idea of what kind of shows Weinman plays, and his doctor just staring at him with a puzzled look:

Breaking your finger hurts a lot, but can you imagine breaking the tip of your finger and continuing performing like nothing happened? That’s what a real trooper does. We hope for a speedy recovery, as speedy as, let’s say in 2 weeks when DEP will start their small set of shows with Mutoid Man, Primitive Man and Rosetta this coming June.

Black Metal enthusiast from Los Angeles who thought was a good idea to grab a camera and shoot underground shows for the hell of it. Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
