Metal Injection Live Blogging From 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise RIGHT NOW!!

Posted by on January 25, 2011

Sad that you aren’t cruising the coast of Miami and Mexico right now on the most metal cruise ever?! Yeah so are we…but our friends at MetalInjection.net are providing us with the (somewhat) next best thing. As we speak, Rob, Frank and Noa are live blogging from the 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise and will continue to do so until the trip’s end (January 28). After one day, the three has already delivered multiple texts, as well as cool photos and videos from aboard (including this cool pic of the band schedule). Here’s a taste of what went down during the first night of the cruise:

Mon 11:15 pm: It’s getting late and we have lost all cellphone reception. Earlier tonight, Arsis kicked off the party with a huge bang. They are incredible to watch live. We decided to skip Exodus in favor of more drinking and then rocked out hard to Nevermore on the deck of the ship. Noa & Frank are roaming around watching Gamma Ray and Sonata Arctica. I took a quick power-nap and I may go check out some Marduk and hopefully encounter some BBQ Ribs! More updates tomorrow –Rob

So go over to MetalInjection.net to read what else went down during the first day, and to keep up to date with everything happening at the 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise! It’s only making us slightly more jealous that we’re not there…ok maybe more than slightly.
