Listen to another new Ensiferum song, Heathen Horde

If you’re a fan of folk metal, then you probably already know that Ensiferum have a new album coming out, One Man Army, on February 24th on Metal Blade. The Finnish band are streaming a new song, “Heathen Horde,” via SoundCloud. It’s every bit as epic as the album cover, which features  a viking with an axe in one hand and a sword in the other, standing over the body of a foe as a god watches over him. Yep, pretty damn metal. And meta, given that Ensiferum is latin for “sword bearing.”

This will be the band’s first album for Metal Blade, as they’d been on Spinefarm since the beginning of their career. You can preorder One Man Army here.
