Earlier this week, it was announced that Vinnie Appice would be leaving Kill Devil Hill and would be replaced by Johnny Kelly, drummer for A Pale Horse Named Death, Danzig, and formerly of Type O Negative. However, there might be a small bit of drama going on with Kelly being added to the band. A recent post on Kill Devil Hill’s Facebook page features an article on Kelly joining the group and one commenter noted how many bands Kelly would now be playing in:
It’s true that Kelly no longer plays for Black Label Society, but is, as far as the other bands know, still plays for A Pale Horse Named Death and Danzig, among other projects. Apparently, Sal Abruscato from A Pale Horse Named Death spotted the comment and put in his own two cents:
It will be interesting to see where this goes. At some point, either Kill Devil Hill will be retracting their statement or A Pale Horse Named Death will be looking for a new drummer.
