For the past six years, Pennsylvania’s Crobot have been a quartet whose high energy live show has been their claim to fame. Signed to Wind-Up in 2013, the band have released two albums, with the most recent, Welcome to Fat City, released last year. However, on Friday, the band announced that their rhythm section, brothers Jake and Paul Figueroa, are out of the band, with good old-fashioned (and vague) “creative differences” the reason for their departure. They’ve lined up replacements, however, and Scorpion Child’s Alec Padron will be filling in on bass, while former The Sword drummer Kevin Fender will hit the skins.
