New Year’s Eve is generally a time when you lose your inhibitions. For Mastodon’s Brent Hinds, he lost his dog. Dingus, a two year old Catahoula Pit mix was reported missing on New Year’s Eve, and went missing for the next few days. In addition to the above sign, there were also flyers made, and other members of the band, like drummer Brann Dailor, got involved in the search for the Masto-dog. And it took four days, but as you can see from the photo, Dingus was found and reunited with his owner. We love a story with a happy ending, and we’re sure any dog owner can relate. An adorable pic of Dingus relaxing at home next to a gun can be seen after the jump.
