HEAD LINE RECORDS

Great store – Not for me because it’s 100% Punk/Hardcore. However I did find some NYHC pieces, so it wasn’t a total loss. This place is very much plugged into the Punk/Hardcore local scene with show flyers everywhere, local punk zines, newsprint publications, one-sheets, and postcards advertising all the shows in the area. Would be a headquarters for me if I was into the music. There was some metal stuff in there but it was all merch – tees, pins, etc. Fair prices, very good selection tons of Punk/Hardcore to dig through. Unfortunately I won’t be back, but for Punk/HC people in the area, this place is the shit. For the devout dedication to both genres.

Rating: 5/5

EPILOGUE: If you should find yourself in either one of these areas, have a grand time bouncing from store to store on the hunt for some great music. I was looking for metal obviously but that doesn’t mean you won’t find something you like at a store where I didn’t. Give them all a fair shot. NOTE: There were more stores in both areas that I did not get to because of time restraints. There’s always next time. My next record store raid will be in New Jersey, reviews coming soon. Oh and don’t bother trying to find the Reach Around Rodeo Clown’s new single – I made that up. Happy record raiding!
