Marco Barbieri led Century Media Records from 1995 to 2007 before more moving back to Las Vegas to work on his family’s business. Now he’s back at Century Media as the Label President.

On his return, Barbieri comments:

“I am very happy to return to Century Media. Some of my best memories are while working here and I look forward to collaborating with staff and artists to write the next illustrious chapter.”

Label founder Robert Kampf commented as well:

“I am extremely happy to welcome Marco Barbieri back to being president of Century Media. Marco is a passionate, music driven, creative leader who will catapult Century Media to new heights in rock and metal.”

Barbieri’s previous run at the label led to some of its most profitable years, so looks like the label will continue to do well for itself in the future. This news comes a few weeks after the death of Century Media Co-owner Oliver Withöeft.
